Synopsis:
Nick Allen, a 5th grader in a small town decides to come up with a new word for “pen”. His language arts teacher, Mrs. Granger, is not happy when his new word spreads like wildfire across the 5th grade, the whole school, and then eventually the whole country! This is a great book to inspire big, creative ideas, and the ending emphasizes a teacher’s love and support for her students.
